United Charter Services Group Of Companies

Over the last seven years Ingrid has been the primary brand strategist for the United Charter Group of companies. This has included creative direction, marketing plans and implementation, creative content generation and other aspects relating to launching an international brand both on and offline.

Included as part of this branding has been the launch of the luxury in-flight magazine, United Maverick. This is a 210+ page, larger-than-life, in-flight publication aimed at high-end world travellers. United Maverick is distributed in South Africa and Europe, in five star hotels and onboard all VIP Charter flight for United Charter Services & Owenair in and around Europe and Africa. This project was envisioned and designed by Ingrid, along with her hand picked creative collaborators.

Other projects have included web development, graphic design, all promotional material, design of their interiors and offices, as well as internal system integration and development. As part of the integrated brand experience, Ingrid also ensured that the brand message was carried throughout the entire interaction for UCS’s customers. This included being instrumental in creating the on-board experience down to the smallest details (including food, amenities, gift packs etc.). As part of her commitment to promoting local South African talent, Ingrid then worked with a number of South African artisans and designers to ensure that the onboard amenities were an entirely African experience without sacrificing any of the brands core values regarding luxury.

This has given Ingrid an in-depth understanding of luxury brand management and strategy development.  

Under Ingrid’s guidance United Charter Services Group of companies has increased their bottom line from R6million to in excess of R100million.
